This self-study version of our 6-week course is divided into modules that include bite-size video lessons, templates, checklists, reading materials, and writing assignments. Brief quizzes assess a learner’s understanding of the week’s takeaways. These materials guide the learner through the process of establishing themselves as a health writer. The course also includes a learner forum, a space where people can talk about health writing and network with others.
According to the feedback we have received from past learners, this course contains a large amount of content and requires allocating sufficient time each week to complete the lessons and assignments. The content for each week is designed to build upon the content from the previous week, so we encourage our learners to take their time and complete the weekly assignments at their own pace.
